Great Home and Experience
We were very pleased with our stay in Lora’s vacation rental! The home was perfect for our needs, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! With a plethora of options in Lake Tahoe, here’s are the things that we appreciated with this home: Home: very clean; kitchen has everything you could need or want; so many activities (pool table, video games galore, board games, hot tub, horseshoes, putting green, great TV/living area, bocce ball, bikes…we were never bored!). Master mattress was firm, in a good way (not mushy), which we prefer. Plenty of towels and paper goods. Layout: was perfect for our family with all the bedrooms upstairs (3 bedrooms with a shared bath, plus master with en suite) and living spaces downstairs with half bath Location: great neighborhood, the neighbors we met were very nice, and we loved biking to the nearby park/lake. Seems like it was just 4 miles to everywhere we went (marina, state line, Edgewood, South Lake Tahoe..). Very nice to have a grocery store so close! Last but certainly not least, Lora was fantastic! Available and ready to help. Answered all our questions. Detailed instructions. We appreciated her hospitality very much. We definitely recommend this property!

Everything We Needed
We were in the area for a family reunion and decided to make this a family vacation. We stayed with our adult daughters and their families and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The home was clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Our granddaughters loved the backyard with the teepee. We also enjoyed having our dinners outside under the gazebo. Close drive to Lake Tahoe, restaurants and grocery stores.

Family Getaway
We had a great time in this house. It had plenty of space for our family and Grandma and Grandpa. It was well equipped for us to cook each night and it was very pet friendly. Family Tahoe Trip
We want to thank Lora for our wonderful stay! We had everything we needed & more. You could spend your whole time @ Tahoe Paradise Park… easy hiking, biking, kids playground, Frisbee golf, pickle ball courts, a lake, river side… you could also spend a whole day in the homes back yard, putting green, BBQ, horse shoes, cool tee-pee for our grandson, quiet and plenty of room/safe for our dogs to have fun too. Perfect Location, Great House
This house was perfect for our ski week vacation. We love Meyers and it’s proximity to Sierra and Kirkwood. It was a short walk to Paradise park to play in deep snow. The house had everything we could want and more. My son thought the video games was a dream vacation even without the snow play. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook family meals. Lora is responsive and looks after every detail as needed.

Great Weekend Getaway

Great Get-a-Way
The property was the most-equipped home I have ever enjoyed. There is so much here for everyone, including children and pets. Coming from the Sacramento area, we found this location so convenient and quick for the South Lake Tahoe area. We made use of the pool table and tv’s in every room. The owner, Lora, was always available and had a lot of information to share.

Perfect Location

The beds and linens were wonderful. Enjoyed the pool table and cable tv in every room was a nice treat in the Vacation Home world. It was the perfect location as we went between the Lake Tahoe Golf Course and the Tahoe Keys Marina. Very quiet and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Snow Weekend
Place was very easy to find with the directions provided. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed and more. Everything was very clean. We took our dog along with us and she had a blast finding toys that were provided at the house. The place was perfect for 3 families and some young adult boys that came along. Beds were very comfortable as well as the extra beds provided. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a day playing in the snow. It was very easy to communicate with the owner and she was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back & would recommend it to anyone.

Warm and Inviting
The home was beautifully staged with incredible details to accommodate every age guests. Home was very clean. Posted details and owner specific directions (such as securing trash from bears), security, safety details were posted around the home for following ease. Sadly, our stay was overshadowed by the nearing Caldor Fire. The owner and I stayed in tight communications for our safety and concern for home. Subsequently, we were evacuated prior to our checkout time. We enjoyed the home and would absolutely return for another stay.

We’re Ready To Go Back!
One of the best vacations we’ve had! We loved the area and all the things that Tahoe had to do, but when we were relaxing at “Rental in Tahoe” we almost never wanted to leave the house. From all the amenities it offered, to the spaciousness of the place, the beauty of the house and the awesome location(walking distance from a lake) we almost had to force ourselves to leave the house. We’ve mentioned this place to friends and family and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation rental, but secretly we would like to keep this gem to ourselves so it’s always available anytime we want to go back. Awesome House!!!
My group absolutely loved our stay! There were 7 adults and we were very comfortable. (One of our party said the queen bed was not very soft, but no other complaints at all!) Having a hot-tub and a pool table meant we hardly had any reason to leave the house! We did hike Eagle Trail to Eagle Falls and it was fabulous, incredible views of the lake, only like 15 min drive from the house. It was nice having the crate/kennel for when my dog stayed home while we went to nearby Stateline casinos. The open and spacious kitchen/dining/living room was a great space for everyone to hang out together. The owner Lora communicated quickly and effectively when I needed her. We would definitely return to this house!

Wonderful All Around
We recently stayed at Tahoe Paradise for a change of scenery from one home to another. We really didn’t leave the neighborhood once we were there and didn’t need to. Lora has everything imaginable that you could want/need, from pots/pans, bikes, wii, etc… We went to the local lake almost daily and felt safe doing so as only few families were there. The kids enjoyed playing at the lake, bike rides and wii. We relaxed in the hot tub daily as well as had dinners on the upper patio nightly. Just getting away refreshed our spirits (From the mental aspects of SIP/Covid) even though we technically didn’t do much. Lora’s home was perfect for this. In addition, Lora was extremely communicative, checking in on us to make sure we got in ok and responding immediately when we had a question. I hope to stay here in the future and have recommended her place to several friends.

We rent often and this place did not disappoint !we actually arrived just before shelter in place orders and had 7 boys with us and we had so much to do ,backyard was huge and hot tub was great inside pool table, wii, video games and lets not forget teaching our boys poker which they now love ! so much to do and house was huge and amazing even with 9 people.

Family Field Trip

Lake Tahoe Family Ski Trip
This house was great for our family of six and extended family members. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. Plenty of room to cook, eat and spend time with entire family while also playing card games and pool. I appreciated that they were dog friendly and had room to accommodate us all comfortably. All the neighbors were nice and friendly, that we encountered during walking out dog. Will definitely stay again; as we return to South Lake Tahoe annually to ski.

Amazing Vacation Rental
Fun for everyone! W/Hot tub, Pool table, ,close to Ski,lake, dog friendly” Amazing Vacation Rental. We just got back from two nights in South Lake Tahoe staying at this beautiful home. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. The location just outside South Lake Tahoe is idle as it provides a quiet and mellow environment without all the hustle and bustle of staying right in town. The beds are so comfortable and the house was spotless when we checked in. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and the kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking easy. The second night after every was exhausted from being on the slopes all day we ordered pizza from Bob Dog Pizza which is literally 1 minute from the house. All in all we couldn’t have been happier with the rental. It will be our go to place for any future Tahoe getaways.

(The cabin has a nest thermostat on a timer), Second, the kitchen has more than what you’ll need to get that savory pot of soup simmering while you and your family play one of the many games stockpiled, or enjoy hours of fun shooting pool…we did! Next, get your snow gear on and play in the snow! You’ll find toys in the garage to make perfect sized snowballs or build an igloo! Obviously, I can go on about the clean accommodations, the hot tub, the Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, etc. Plain and simple, this is the place to be while experiencing God’s country. So close to all that is waiting to be explored in South Shore Tahoe. Lora helps to ensure that each guest has all that is needed to have a retreat amongst the pines. LOVED Our Stay!
My husband and I stayed at Lora’s beautiful home this July and had a wonderful get-a-way. The home accommodations were so comfortable- good quality linens, plenty of activities to do right in the house from cooking , BBQing (worked great and was easy to use!), reading, watching movies, listening to CDs, playing video or board games. We loved the Jacuzzi bath after a long hike but there is also a big spa out back. The neighborhood is quiet but close to EVERYTHING one would need from hiking on the many trails nearby, lake fishing at Baron Lake, wading through the streams, to visiting nearby Tahoe, etc. etc. There were even some bikes to use for cruising around but you can walk to plenty of nearby restaurants, coffee shops, etc. (Bob Dog Pizza is scrumptious!) Thanks Lora for opening your well equipped and tastefully decorated home for others to enjoy!

Fabulous Tahoe Getaway
We are still feeling the relaxing effects of our Tahoe getaway at Lora’s place. The house is very comfy, clean, roomy, quiet, and surrounded by immense beauty. We didn’t have a need to turn on the TV. Instead we took several walks to Lake Baron (A quick 15 minute walk.). One evening we happened upon a bald Eagle. Such a breathtaking treat as he swooped down and caught a fish! We enjoyed our mornings on the outside sunny deck. We played pool, sat in the hot tub, played games, and enjoyed using the new BBQ for a mouth watering meal. Lora is a perfect host who ensures that everything is to our utmost satisfaction. I highly recommend booking your next vacation amongst the Tahoe blue skies, tall pines with top notch accommodations.

Fantastic Home Base For South Tahoe Fun
This is a wonderful house with plenty of room for up to 8 adults. It has a fancy master bedroom with its own large bathroom en suite, and the three remaining bedrooms share a single bathroom located in the hall, aside from a half bath located downstairs adjacent to the kitchen. That may be a drawback for some groups. The kitchen, dining, and living room areas are all roomy and comfy enough for a decent sized group to hang out in. The backyard is nicely fenced, HUGE! and contains a hot tub. My friend noted that there are a million notes of instructions/warnings/rules posted everywhere within the house. Some are helpful, some are not.

My Family And I Loved This Cabin!!!!
There was eight of us in our group . The cabin was so cozy yet so spacious . The young men in our group loved the pool table and the girls loved the games it kept everyone busy since there was a lot of snow and we stayed in a lot . I loved that the casino was about a ten min drive not far at all . So my husband and could enjoy a little time away . Also there is a place to rent snow mobiles and snow tubing across the street which my family had a blast doing . Do your self a favor and rent this place you won’t be disappointed . I would love to go back in the summer. Which we will definitely do.

This More Than A Cabin, A Really Great Place To Stay At In Lake Tahoe
This luxury home was the ideal place to stay for our family. The house was centrally located on the south side of Lake Tahoe very close to everything that we wanted to see and do. The house was very clean and had a ton of room for everybody. After having a long day of hiking the backyard was a great place to unwind with a putting green and out door furniture to relax in.

One Big Happy Family And One Big Comfortable House
Our family spent a weekend in this beautiful home (Us, Our parents, 4 adult children, 2 girlfriends & our niece) that had plenty of comfy beds & rooms for everyone! It’s not only beautiful in appearance but also very clean, warm & welcoming. The interior style is very pleasing to the eye. You can tell much thought goes into even the smallest of details! The pictures shown are very accurate but this home is much more beautiful in person.This house literally has everything you need for a fun filled family weekend! There’s something for every age! We took the short drive to the Casinos, had a nice dinner and returned home for a friendly game of pool and relaxing in the hot tub! A perfect day! Saturday some of us took a bike ride (there are many to choose from in the garage) while others took a short walk to the park & lake. Grandpa took a nap in the Hammock in the backyard. The girls took a drive into town to shop at various local boutiques while the guys played horseshoes, watched the Giants game & The Golf Masters Tournament on the 50 inch plasma TV. We cooked dinner on Saturday evening (the kitchen is well equipped just like at home). We played lots of games (Wii, Cards, pool, Board games) in which there is no shortage of throughout the house! If you wish for some quiet time…every room has a flat screen & there’s a variety of movies to choose from. Although there is no place like home….It was very hard to leave on Sunday! We really had such a great time! We will definitely be back! Thank you Lora for allowing our family to enjoy your family’s home as if it was our own. Best I Have Found
This place is so beautiful! Everything was clean an meticulously kept. It had everything we needed for creating our fancy meals and playing games. The spa was large and clean. Family Stay
The home was perfect for our family gathering of 10. Lots of room indoors and outdoors to spread out. Our 3 grandchildren had room to roam and the neighborhood park was a great spot to visit each day. The activities there are all as advertised and all in good shape. Close to South Lake Tahoe but not right in it – easy to get to all the lake activities, hiking, food, etc. Lora was very responsive to everything we needed. Definitely would rent there again.

Fully Stocked House, Great For Groups
We had 6 adults and 4 young children and the house had everything we needed and was clean. Fully stocked kitchen, extra towels, blankets, games, baby gate, extra fridge, etc. We all enjoyed hanging in the backyard and although the house is in a residential neighborhood with neighbors all around, it was quiet and there’s a great park and little lake nearby (Paradise Park) you can walk to. Everything was in working order. Never had a problem with hot water when taking showers. Overall, a great house choice for a group of people.

Nice Winter Stay
I just had a great weekend with friends at this very nice property. The place very clean and organized. The house is fully loaded with dishes if you plan to stay in and cook, very nice appliances, blankets, towels, video games, tv’s in every room, etc. My girlfriend loved the Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long day out on the slopes and the proximity to Pioneer Trail made getting to Heavenly quick and easy. The downstairs open floor plan with the full size pool table was awesome for hanging out and catching with old friends. We will definitely be scoping this property out again for a summer or fall stay!

SNOWBOUND
We arrived before Christmas to celebrate my granddaughter’s 18th birthday. She wanted a white Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated and the property owner was wonderful texting with us. However that was the the time that in 5 days we got i understand 17 feet of snow. We were mot able to accomplish but we wanted but we had a white Christmas and some wonderful family time.

Tahoe At It’s Finest
Our family had such a great time at Lora’s house! The property is beautifully kept and the beds were the best we’ve ever experienced at a rental. Can’t Be Beat
I have rented many very nice vacation homes. Many that were very nicely appointed. This one beats them all, hands down! In addition to being a lovely, comfortable home, it is stocked with every family vacation friendly need you could imagine. Kayaks, bikes, pool table, video and board games, televisions, yard games (and a beautiful yard to play in), and I mustn’t forget to mention the spa, bbq grill and extensively appointed kitchen. Our week was fantastic. I will recommend to others and would be happy to rent again. I must mention that the ONLY issue we encountered was inconsistent WiFi connectivity. FABULOUS VACATION HOME!

Perfect House And The Perfect Place
Wow- what an amazing vacation. We went in April, so one day our daughter was building a sand castle in her shorts at the nearby beach, and the next day she making a snowman in the backyard. Now that I think about it, we never left the neighborhood. The house was so full of fun things to do and the lake, river, playground, and delicious restaurants were all walking distance, so we really didn’t need to. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen was stocked with all the basics, and the owners were easy to get in touch with and super helpful. We’re already planning to go back in the summer when we can use the bikes and kayaks.

A Perfect Getaway in Meyers/South Lake Tahoe
Nice quiet quaint neighborhood, close to South Lake Tahoe, 1 hour to Reno, close to businesses & several grocery stores, Golf course was amazing, Small lake within walking distance, beautiful bike rides, the house provided everything we needed. Places to eat: The Getaway Cafe, Riva Grill, Starbucks, Peet’s Cafe.

Tahoe Family Reunion
I’d give 6 stars if I could. Every detail has been thought of for this fabulous property. Our family reunion was perfect. Gourmet kitchen, hot tub, a park like back yard for our pets, comfortable and well appointed bedrooms. The beds!! The most amazing nights sleep. Fans in every room, extra bedding for roll always, comfy tv watching. We cooked and grilled, played pool, rode bikes, took our dogs to the local lake, went kayaking…you name it. This home is so wonderful we never needed to leave to have a great vacation. Due to COVID we didn’t venture out to casinos but only a 10 minute drive and we were enjoying beverages on the patio in South Lake Tahoe. I can’t thank Lora enough for checking in on us and making sure our stay was fabulous. Can’t wait to come back.

Truly A Home Away From Home
Everything about this vacation home was wonderful. I’ve stayed at other vacation rentals but there was always something missing, not enough cookware, utensils, salt, pepper, bath towels, etc. Lora stocks up on the basics and provides a warm home feeling with some hotel amenities. There were 9 of us (2 families) and plenty of room to spread out. The guys loved the pool table! Check in was the easiest, check out even better! We will definitely be back! Thanks Lora for a great experience.

A Great Place For A Getaway
This house was equipped with everything you need to make you visit perfect. All the decor and furniture is very updated and new. Beautiful flooring and counter tops. Bathrooms updated and big. The kitchen has everything you need plus more. There is plenty of room for everyone. Three couches and a big square dining table that seats 8 and perfect for playing games. Plenty of room to play Pool in the living room and others watch TV all together. Driveway long enough for all our cars. Walking distance to Lake Baron.

Wonderful, Relaxing Summer Vacation!
Lora, the owner, has put tremendous thought and effort into making her Tahoe home a comfortable, fun place. The house is nicely decorated, all the appliances work, and there are lots of toys (bikes, kayaks, games) for the entire family including four-legged fur babies. Helpful labels are attached throughout the house so it’s easy to figure out how to use everything. A community park is within easy walking distance with trails, Friday night concerts, lake and beach. Meyers near South Lake Tahoe is quiet and a well-located base for day hikes and excursions to other areas in Tahoe.

Great for Family and Friends
We just got back from our stay in Meyers and it was just fantastic. The house was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. There was plenty of room for everyone, the house was really clean, and extremely well stocked. We went multiple times to the nearby Lake Baron and enjoyed the playground, the beach and the walks around the lake. There was lots to do at the house as well including two huge cupboards filled with games and horseshoes outside. The neighborhood was quiet with many friendly neighbors. We also went twice to Stateline which was only a 15 minute beautiful drive via Pioneer Trail. Our group loves to cook. Having a second refrigerator in the garage was a huge bonus! Kudos to owner for Lora for wonderful communication and for making us feel welcome. If you are considering a large home with plenty of extras, look no further!

Beautiful House, Great Location, Amazing Host!!
This house is a fantastic vacation getaway for family and friends! Great location, close to everything and only 10 minutes away from the casinos! The house has everything! A pool table, TVs in EVERY room with a ton of games and DVDs… the kitchen has pretty much everything you need. LOVE the backyard especially if you’re bringing a dog. We were fortunate to enjoy the snow. Large enclosed back yard you will love! Lora is AWESOME! She is a very classy lady and I give her 2 thumbs up from start to finish! She is very accommodating and her response time is quick! I highly recommend this vacation rental! Thank you Lora! We will be back!!

Fantastic Family Get Away
Her had such a great time with our family! It was perfect for us – very close to several ski areas and super comfortable. The bedrooms were quiet, well appointed with comfy beds. The downstairs had the perfect layout for relaxing and visiting. The pool table was the center of everything and the outudoor jacuzzi was heaven. There’s nothing I’d change and we’ll be back for sure!

Great Location, Lots Of Space And All Of The Touches To Make Your Stay Seamless And Fun!
We had a wonderful stay! The location puts you close to all three resorts (only about 15 minutes for Heavenly and Sierra and 35 from Kirkwood), and the surrounding area has a lot to offer beyond skiing. The house is nice and roomy and the owners provide extra beds so it can truly sleep a large group in comfort. There are really thoughtful touches throughout the home including extra bedding, toys and games, all of the necessary kitchen utensils and appliances and outdoor gear. I find that in home rentals, these touches are what makes the vacation special. I would highly recommend this home!

Amazing Vacation Rental
We just got back from two nights in South Lake Tahoe staying at this beautiful home. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. The location just outside South Lake Tahoe is idle as it provides a quiet and mellow environment without all the hustle and bustle of staying right in town. The beds are so comfortable and the house was spotless when we checked in. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and the kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking easy. The second night after every was exhausted from being on the slopes all day we ordered pizza from Bob Dog Pizza which is literally 1 minute from the house. All in all we couldn’t have been happier with the rental. It will be our go to place for any future Tahoe getaways.

Tahoe In The Summer
My family and I visited Tahoe in the summer and was very comfortable in this beautiful home. Definitely felt like a home away from home. Amazing House & Amazing Host
The location couldn’t have been more perfect for what we had planned! The house was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We were lucky enough to be snowed on for a full day there! We could have easily kept ourselves busy just at the house with all the snow we got. We did venture out to the ski resort & had lots of fun. Another group with us rented snow mobiles for the day. The neighborhood is quiet & nice so we took some walks around while it was snowing. I have a very early riser (young child). We were both excited to watch the tractors blow snow from the roads & driveways super early in the morning. The other people in our group didn’t even hear the tractor & were shocked to see how clear the roads were when they woke. Btw, the tractor isn’t loud so it won’t wake you. The host is the sweetest & super fast at responding both before, during & after our rental. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves! We will be back (maybe even this season)!

Coming Home
We couldn’t have asked for more when renting this beautiful home. The owners go above and beyond for their renters. They have everything imaginable and more.Well stocked from kitchen goods to games for the whole family, hot tub, whirl pool tub in master bedroom which was so nice.Very comfy beds, nice furnishings,TV in every room. Plenty of Room and Well Maintained Home
All the bedrooms were nice and well equipped. Spacious Kitchen and Dining Area. Lora was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Despite dealing with epic snow conditions, the driveway was cleared promptly after it snowed. We will definitely book there again when we return to Tahoe.

Best Vacation Ever
My family and I have been renting homes off of VRBO for many years. I want everyone to know that this is one of the best homes we have ever rented. When we rent we look for certain qualities. We have 2 dogs and of course we need a back yard that is fenced in. This home had a large fenced yard and I never had to worry about them getting out. The home was large and very well maintained. There was plenty of space to roam the home and not feel crowded. The amenities were fantastic. I want to thank the home owners for having enough pots and pans and dishes to serve more than 8 people at a time most homes hardly have and supplies to even cook with. We rent and we usually don’t eat out much to try and save money. we had plenty of pans and cook ware to really enjoy cooking in the kitchen. All of the rooms were lovely and had a fan to use when it was hot. We loved our week here.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location, home, and the owner! Lake Tahoe is a beautiful, scenic area with many outdoor activities. The home is just 15 minutes away from Heavenly Valley which offers skiing and snowboarding, 20 minutes from the casino, and just a couple minutes from the grocery store and good local dining. The home is very spacious, and it easily accommodated a large group of 11. There are games, supplies, and extras (hot tub, bicycles, pool table, etc.) galore! Everything we could possibly need is available – towels, extra bedding/blankets, kitchen items, toiletries, and entertainment. The atmosphere is very warm, welcoming, and cozy. It is a great place for family and friends to stay together. The owner, Lora, is extremely responsive and helpful. She provided quick answers and made sure we were doing well during our stay. Relaxing Time
We rented the house for a weekend for my husband’s 50th birthday. All he wanted was relaxing time with his family – especially the grandkids! Our 3 kids, 2 nephews and a girlfriend and the grandchildren came. My husband got everything he wanted! -including a nice soak in the hot tub and a bike ride. I think he said “Thank you honey” about 6 times that weekend. The whole family had a really great time. What a great house.

Perfect Home Away From Home
My family has stayed in this home three times now and each time we are thoroughly delighted by our stay. The owners have taken great care in making sure everything you may possibly need is provided. The home is clean, thoughtfully furnished and decorated with the most comfortable beds. The backyard provides endless entertainment and the second story patio is perfect for dining al fresco while enjoying the beautiful Tahoe sunsets. The location is quiet and peaceful with a beautiful park for all ages just a short walk or bike ride away. Coming home at the end of a long day is a treat itself as we often look forward to relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool or one of their countless board games.
